One of the most famous in Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has recently performed Hajj with his mother. According to reports, Aamir Khan pushed his mother’s wheelchair at every step to make her comfortable.
Hajj is one of five pillars of Islam, the Hajj is enjoined on all Muslims who are physically and financially able to carry it out. The grand mosques in Mecca and Medina, the two holiest in Islam, draw millions of pilgrims annually.
Home to Islam’s holiest sites, Saudi Arabia regards itself as the guardian of Islam and assumes the responsibility of maintaining a peaceful Hajj season when Muslims from various sects gather at the same place and time.
Aamir Khan also had the opportunity to meet former Junaid Jamshed (Former recording artist from Pakistan, who has left the music scene upon understanding Islam), Shahid Afridi (Pakistani cricketer) and Maulana Tariq Jameel (Well respected Islamic scholar from Pakistan).
